Can I just say that Wiccan alters and ritual tools really confuse me. Why would you use salt from the sea to represent earth? Why would the cauldron be used to represent earth and not fire? Why would you use an athame to represent fire instead of air (I mean, it’s sharp and clean and… it’s just air, okay)? Why is earth in the North? Why? Why? Why? I mean… I’m not going to call myself Wiccan so I don’t know why I’m so fired up about it but I just am. That being said, I ordered too many books by Scott Cunningham. I need more books on practical, natural ritual and magick. Druidry, maybe? Hm.
